TRADE:
2023 Ireland exported approximately 50 tonnes of Pig meat valued at €0.09m.
2022 Ireland exported approximately 103 tonnes of Pig meat valued at €0.36 m.
2019-2021 no trade recorded.
CERTIFICATION ARRANGEMENTS: The certificate is for frozen raw pork.
EXPORTER T&C’S:
- Exports can take place from DAFM-approved slaughter/cutting plants and cold stores that have been authorised by the Mexican competent authority (SENASICA).
- Origin - Pigs must be born, reared, and slaughtered in Ireland or legally imported from a member state/area of the European Union in compliance with the restrictions of movement related to diseases indicated in the certificate.
- Other specific conditions also apply e.g., non-cominglement of ineligible pigs /pigmeat with eligible pigs / pigmeat for this trade.
