TRADE

 In 2023 Ireland exported approximately 8,483 tonnes of beef valued at €11.08 m.

 In 2022 Ireland exported approximately 7,109 tonnes of beef valued at €10.21 m.

 In 2021 Ireland exported approximately 6,348 tonnes of beef valued at €7.39 m.

In 2020 Ireland exported approximately 9,484 tonnes of beef valued at €10.30 m.

In 2019 Ireland exported approximately 6,758 tonnes of beef valued at €7.07 m.

In 2018 Ireland exported approximately 9,319 tonnes of beef valued at €9.45 m.

PRODUCTS EXPORTED: Frozen bone-in beef and frozen bovine offal.

 

CERTIFICATION ARRANGEMENTS: Ireland does not have a bilaterally agreed certificate for the export of beef to Ghana. That said, Ghana seems to be one of the countries that accept exports of beef from Ireland based on the general export health certificate.

The export health certificate covers edible beef products.

EXPORTER T&C’S: The meat must satisfy the conditions set out in the general export health certificate and must be exported from a DAFM approved premises.

In 2022 Ireland exported approximately 3,552 tonnes of Poultry meat valued at €4.14 m

In 2021 Ireland exported approximately 5,212 tonnes of Poultry meat valued at €5.01 m

In 2020 Ireland exported approximately 1,237 tonnes of Poultry meat valued at €1.27 m

In 2019 Ireland exported approximately 536 tonnes of Poultry meat valued at €0.55 m

In 2018 Ireland exported approximately 746 tonnes of Poultry meat valued at €0.62 m

 

Producst Exported: The certificate is for Poultry meat products.

EXPORTER T&C’S: 

  • Exports can take place from all establishments approved by DAFM. 
  • the poultry meat derives from animals free from notifiable diseases of the species: 
  • the consignment was produced in an establishment approved to export to the EU. 
  • the poultry from which the poultry meat derives originates from an area which has been free from notifiable diseases of the species for the past 6 months.

In 2021 Ireland exported approximately 339 tonnes of sheep meat valued at €0.39 m

In 2020 Ireland exported approximately 285 tonnes of sheep meat valued at €0.30 m

In 2019 Ireland exported approximately 171 tonnes of sheep meat valued at €0.16 m

In 2018 Ireland exported approximately 398 tonnes of sheep meat valued at €0.40 m

In 2019 Ireland exported approximately 192 tonnes of Pigmeat valued at €0.21 m.

In 2018 Ireland exported approximately 712 tonnes of Pigmeat valued at €0.46 m.
