PRODUCTS EXPORTED: Fresh, chilled, or frozen beef.

CERTIFICATION ARRANGEMENTS: All DAFM approved premises are eligible to export to Algeria.

 

EXPORTER T&C’S:

  • The meat must be derived from animals born and raised continuously in Ireland.
  • The meat must have been derived from animals which were subjected to an officially approved rapid test for BSE with negative result, except for animals aged 30 months or less.
  • SRM definition in certificate is different to EU definition.

PRODUCTS EXPORTED: Sheepmeat

CERTIFICATION ARRANGEMENTS: The certificate is for fresh, vacuum-refrigerated, or frozen sheepmeat.

EXPORTER T&C’S: 

Origin - The meat and meat products must be derived from animals born, continuously raised, and slaughtered in Ireland or Northern Ireland and which have been produced in full compliance with European Parliament and Council Regulations (EC) No. 999/2001 and (EC) No. 1069/2009 as applicable.

All DAFM-approved slaughter, cutting and processing ovine establishments, which are supervised by an official veterinarian of the Department, are eligible to produce sheepmeat for export to Algeria.
