Requirements
The animals must be clearly identified, undergo a veterinary inspection, and be fit to travel. The animals must also fulfil the criteria set out in the agreed health certificates for exporting breeding cattle and fattening/slaughter cattle to Lebanon. These include specific rules on the herds of origin, history of the animals, specific tests and health status.
If you are considering exporting livestock/bloodstock (horses) to this market, you must fulfil certain animal health requirements that may include isolation, testing, vaccination and/or other specific sanitary conditions.
You should make contact and agree arrangements with your local Regional Veterinary Office before you begin any preparations for export.
