If you are considering exporting livestock/bloodstock (horses) to this market, you must fulfil certain animal health requirements that may include isolation, testing, vaccination and/or other specific sanitary conditions.
You should make contact and agree arrangements with your local Regional Veterinary Office before you begin any preparations for export.

Requirements
The animals must be properly identified, undergo a veterinary inspection and be fit to travel. You must complete two health certificates to export pigs to China. These are the China - Pigs Certificate and the China - Supplementary Certificate H1N1. The animals must also fulfil the criteria set out in the two agreed health certificates for exporting pigs for breeding to China. These include specific rules on the herds of origin, history of the animals, specific tests and health status.
